I am playing these tracks with picks and a Stevens Dobro slide (mostly). The open tuning is, for the most part (D A D F# A D) but sometimes the F# gets lowered to D because you just can’t have too many droning Ds. Some of the other tunes are in open E (you figure it out) Sometimes I use a capo cut down to expose the low string. Other times I use that capo technique with an open tuning to get more exotic and really confuse myself. All of these current files are instrumentals and all are by me. I have created songs that have lyric content and I will put them up sometime in the future so, if you absolutely hate instrumental music, check back. I’ve managed to stay off the professional stage all this time so I have no impressive credentials to share, except for this one time when we (my friends and I ) won the MTV Beach House Band Search competition way back in 1995 with a song I made up entitled “The LaLa”. Sometimes I still do that one, a bit differently but the same tune. I think I have ‘found my voice’ with this music. Check out the ‘My Music‘ page and see if you find something that fits. Dressing rooms are unisex and they do have cameras in them so use caution.
